Opposition Leader meets Samurdhi officers

A group of representatives of the Samurdhi Development and Agriculture Research Assistant Officers’ Association met the Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa and held discussions.

It is reported that these discussions were held at the official residence of the Opposition Leader yesterday evening.

It is said that these representatives told the Opposition Leader that under the present government they have been deprived of their pensions.

Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa had said on this occasion that arrangements will be made to bring to the attention of the government, the overall problems of the Samurdhi Campaign including the pensions of the Samurdhi Officers.
