State Minister Niroshan tells Naveen his statement was not by-mistake

State Minister Niroshan Perera reiterated today that he is compelled to vote for the no-confidence motion against minister Bathiudeen unless he resigns from his portfolio.

State Minister Perera was responding in parliament today to a statement made by Minister Navin Dissanayake yesterday.

Addressing a media conference held on May 20th, State Minister Niroshan Perera stated that he would support the no-confidence motion against minister Bathiudeen.

However, Minister Navin Dissanayake who addressed a ceremony in Matara yesterday said that state minister Niroshan Perera made the statement by mistake.

Contradicting minister Dissanayake, state minister Niroshan Perera reiterated in parliament today that his statement is not accidental.
