The 12 individuals who were taken into custody in connection with the incident of damaging shops and several houses in the Nikaweratiya town, have been remanded once again until 31 of this month.

This was on the order of Nikaweratiya Magistrate Shashika Lakmali Dassanayake.

The Police had taken these suspects into custody on 13 using CCTV footage fixed at shops in the city.
