An attack by thugs on a house of Pradeshiya Sabha Member

 A group of people had attacked the house of a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna member of the Homagama Pradeshiya Sabha last night, located at Godagama.

The group which had arrived on three motor bikes, our Correspondent said had caused severe damage to the door and windows of the house, a motor cycle and a vehicle which had been parked there.

The householders had not been injured in the attack and Police believe that this attack was carried out to intimidate them.

How the suspects arrived and later left were recorded on CCTV camera footage of nearby houses.

The Meegoda Police is carrying out further investigations into the incident.
