Five persons including a school Principal who was taken into custody in connection with the terror attacks remanded

The five individuals including the school Principal of Horowpathana who were taken into custody in connection the Easter Sunday attacks have been remanded until 4 of next month.

That was subsequent to these suspects being produced at the Kebithigollewa Magistrate’s Court. Among these five persons who were arrested on the 23 of this month, there is a school Principal and Deputy Principal as well.

They are in remand custody at present and it has been revealed during initial investigations that they had close ties with a member of the National Thowheeth Jamath Organization, a person by the name of Abdul Majeed Mohammed Niyaz.
