A Drug Prevention Week

A national drug prevention week has been declared from 22 June to 1 July on the instructions of President Maithripala Sirisena.

The objective is to further strengthen the programme to eradicate drugs and expanding of related work.  

Yesterday discussions were held at the Presidential Secretariat under the patronage of the Secretary to the President Udaya R. Seneviratne regarding draft bills on control of drugs and minimizing crimes.
