Asgiri chapter says select committee is futile

The secretary of the Asigirya Chapter Venerable Dhammananda Thero said that they are not satisfied with the Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to investigate the incidents that took place on Easter Sunday.

That was when Member of Parliament Wimal Weerawansa went to visit the Chief Prelate of the Asgiriya Chapter today.

The Leader of the National Freedom Front, Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa worshipped the sacred Tooth Relic and visited the Chief Prelates of Asigirya and Malwatte chapters today.
