An analysis by the CID regarding mobile phones of Easter Sunday bombers

The Criminal Investigation Department has launched an analysis into the mobile phones of the 9 suicide bombers who carried out the attacks on Easter Sunday.

Police Media Spokesman, SP Ruwan Gunasekera said that analyses have commenced into more than 1800 telephone calls the suicide bombers had received on their mobile phone on days close to the bomb explosions.

Meanwhile, there are 66 individuals in the custody of the CID in connection with the Easter Sunday attacks and 21 persons have been detained by the Terrorist Investigation Division, according to the Police Media Spokesman.
