Hearing of a petition filed by the former Defence Secretary postponed to 6 June

The hearing of a Petition filed requesting that the case in connection with the incident of constructing the D. A. Rajapaksa Memorial Museum be prevented from being heard at the special three-judge High Court has been postponed until 6 of next month.

That was when the case was taken up for hearing in the presence of Appeal Court judges Achala Wengappuli and Arjuna Obeysekera, yesterday.

The Attorney General had filed a case at the special High Court against seven persons including former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa alleging that a sum of Rs. 33.9 million had been misused when constructing the Museum
