Police appoint a committee to accept complaints against Rishard, Hizbullah and Salley

A committee has been established at the Police Headquarters to accept complaints against former minister Rishard Baduideen and former provincial governors Azath Sali and MLAM Hisbullah if any.

The committee which comprises of two SP and one SSP will accept such complaints from 8 am to 4 pm effective June 12th.

Meanwhile, the protest march organized by the Inter University Students Federation which started from Maradana has reached the Fort Railway station.

The protest march has been organized on several issues including the cancellation of the Batticaloa private university.

Police closed Galle Face entry road from Lotus Roundabout temporarily due to the protest march.
