State Minister Ajith Mannapperuma said that the statement made recently regarding His Eminence the Archbishop Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, by Minister Mangala Samaraweera is not the opinion of the government.

That was while responding to questions raised by Journalists subsequent to a function held in Habarana today.

Expressing his views further the State Minister said that although the government was warned about the Easter Sunday attacks, not taking it seriously and considering it a minor matter was a fault of the government.
