A traffic plan in several roads around Colombo day after tomorrow

Friday, 07 June 2019 - 8:08

Traffic will be restricted on several roads around Colombo due to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Sri Lanka.

The Police Media Spokesman’s office said that this special traffic plan will be in operation day after tomorrow from 11.00 am to 3.30 pm.

A special traffic plan will be in operation on the Katunayake – Colombo Expressway, the Peliyagoda Flyover Bridge, through Borella up to the General Cemetery roundabout, and from Borella D. S. Senanayake junction up to Galle Road.

As a result, passengers travelling to the Katunayake Airport should take this into consideration and go to the airport ahead of time on that day. This was stated by Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera at a media briefing held in Colombo yesterday.
