Opposition alleges that the government did not take into consideration national security

Member of Parliament Shehan Semasinghe said that the government has not taken into consideration, national security in carrying out their duties.

The Parliamentarian said today at a media briefing which had been summoned by the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna that at least the Prime Minister should have been informed of the fact that IGP Pujith Jayasundera who has at present been sent on compulsory leave, was not summoned to attend the Security Council meetings.
