Proposal of Cricketers including Sangha and Mahela to be presented in parliament

The proposals made for the Sri Lanka Cricket new constitution is to be presented before parliament today.

It has been reported that the series of proposals for the new cricket constitution has been prepared taking into account the proposals and suggestions made by former cricketers Mahela Jayawardena, Kumar Sangakkara, Roshan Mahanama, and Sidath Wettamuni.

The proposals are to be presented before parliament today.

The proposal will be taken up for debate in parliament in two weeks and upon its passing, it will be sent for cabinet approval.
