The Supreme Court has informed Parliament that the State Land (Special Provisions) Bill cannot be included in the agenda of the Parliament without consulting the Provincial Councils.

The Supreme Court is of the view that the matter discussed in the State Land (Special Provisions) Bill is within the purview of the Provincial Councils and therefore the President should refer the relevant bill to all Provincial Councils for their opinion on the matter.

The Supreme Court has stated that the Bill could not be incorporated into the Parliamentary agenda and therefore it would not become a law.
