The Indian media reported that Easter Sunday attacks were encouraged by a Mumbai based Islamic Moulavi – Sakeer Nayak.

Sakeer Nayak is the chairman of the Islamic Research Foundation and founder of Peace TV which is watched by about 200 million.

Indian media stated that Sakeer Nayak has fled India since 2016 is now harboured by Malaysia.

The same media stated that he has encouraged the attacks in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

According to the same media reports, this terrorist organization has excessive wealth and spent 212 Indian Crores to launch terrorist activities.

Sakeer Nayake is alleged to have funded Indian congress party as well.

Meanwhile, police have been continuing investigations to ascertain whether any more members of proscribed National Thawheed Jamath and Jamathe Millathe Ibrahim alias JMI in Oluvil campus.

A student attached to Oluvil campus was arrested recently on his connection to the proscribed terrorist organization.

Six suspects working for these proscribed terrorists organizations were arrested in the past three days.
