Parliament Secretary General Dhammika Dissanayake has requested for three more days to answer the questions posed to him by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry that’s probing fraud and corruption in public enterprises.

The inquiry is conducted on the building which has been leased out to house the Ministry of Agriculture.

At the same time, the Commission informed the Education ministry secretary to reinstate its director of supply IMKB Ilangasinghe who was transferred to the Establish Division after he testified before the commission on an earlier occasion.

At the same time, it was revealed before the Commission that 39 nurses attached to the Castle Street hospital are serving at the Neville Fernando private hospital but these nurses are still on the pay-list of the Castel Street hospital.
