High Commissioner of Pakistan Major General Shahid Ahmed Hashmath called on Foreign Affairs Minister Tilak Marapana.

The High Commission of Pakistan announced that the meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Pakistan High Commissioner has called on the Foreign Minister to explain the serious situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

He pointed out that India's move to change the internationally accepted position on Jammu and Kashmir is a violation of UN Security Council resolutions.

The Pakistani High Commissioner has shared with the Foreign Affairs Minister Tilak Marapana that any attempt to change the demographic structure of Jammu and Kashmir would violate international law.

The Pakistani High Commissioner has stated that they have made repeated requests to India over a period of seven decades to peacefully resolve this dispute.

He added that India's current attitude and actions pose a serious threat to regional cooperation and international peace and security.

The High Commissioner of Pakistan has emphasized that all regional countries and the international community should act to save India from this misrepresentation.
