Human Bones discovered in the Habarana Forest Reserve

Police have discovered some human bones believed to be of two individuals, from the Habarana Forest Reserve.

It is said that these bone fragments were found a few kilometers away from the Minneriya – Giritale access road inside the reserve.

They have been found based on information received from residents of the area, and a mobile phone as well as a wallet have been recovered from nearby.

Investigations are underway to discover the identity of the two dead individuals.
