CENTRAL+BANK+LOWERS+POLICY+INTEREST+RATES

The policy rates in effect between the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and the Commercial Banks have been reduced by 50 basis points.

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka said that the decision was taken by the Monetary Board which met yesterday.

Accordingly, the Standing Deposit Facility Rate (SDFR)‎ will be reduced to 7 percent and the Standing Lending Facility Rate (SLFR) will be 8 percent.
