6 vehicles collide on the Southern Expressway

6+vehicles+collide+on+the+Southern+Expressway

Two individuals have been hospitalized following a collision between 6 vehicles near the Kahathuduwa exit in the southern expressway, this afternoon.

The injured have been admitted to the Homagama hospital.

The operations office of the southern expressway said that steps are underway to remove the vehicles that met with the accident in order to normalize the vehicular traffic in the southern expressway.

Meanwhile the speed limit of the expressway has been limited to 60 kilometres per hour due to the rainy condition.
