The third and fourth sections of the Southern Expressway will be opened tomorrow

The third and fourth sections of the Southern Expressway will be declared open tomorrow.

The Road Development Authority said that the sections across Barawakumbuka to Andarawewa to Mattala and Hambantota will be declared open thus.

In addition, the section from Kadawatha to Kerawalapitiya is also scheduled to be opened tomorrow.

Meanwhile, a group of residents of the area engaged in protest near the Barawakumbuka exit today, based on several facts including, not repairing the roads damaged when building the expressway, walls of their houses cracking as well as not renovating the damage done to the irrigation system.
