The Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardena stated that he has received information about some Buddhist priests' involvement in ragging in Teaching Colleges.

 

He asserted that such individuals will be immediately expelled from those institutions.

 

Meanwhile, Minister Dalas Allahapperuma pointed out three mistakes made by the Buddhist priests in Sri Lanka.

 

He stated that embracing party politics is one of those faults.

 

The Minister of Youth Affairs made this observation at a ceremony of distributing certificates of a computer programme conducted by the National Youth Council for Buddhists priests.
