Sources from the UNP stated that the disruption caused to the protest that was organized in Panadura recently by the Oppositions Opposition movement was another stage of the attack on Sirikotha.
These facts have been revealed during inquiries carried out by the committee appointed by the Opposition Leader to look in to the disruption caused to the Panadura protest.
A Sasunata Aruna Programme was held on the 29th of February, which is the day before the protest at the Samudrarama Viharaya in Wadduwa under the patronage of UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa.
However, the Chief incumbent at the Temple, Bopitiye Dammissara Thero is one of those accused over the Sirikotha attack.
Further inquiries are continuing in to the incident.
