The Sri Lankan delegation to the 4th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association’s Asian Region Summit headed by Speaker Chamal Rajapakse will leave for Pakistan tomorrow.
The summit will begin on Tuesday in Karachi and will go on until the 15th of this month.
Speakers and members of parliament from Asian countries will attend the summit that is being chaired by speaker Chamal Rajapakse, who is also the Chairman of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.
The summit will focus on regional terrorism, trade embargos and violence against women.
Parliamentarians Ranjith Soysa, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, S Adekkalanadan and General Secretary of Parliament Dhammika Dissanayake will also be a part of the Sri Lankan delegation.
