Foreign media reports indicate that the new video produced by Channel 4 regarding Sri Lanka is due to be aired on Wednesday 14th.

Reports further indicate that the video due to be telecast on the sidelines of the Geneva UN Human Rights Council is titled “Sri Lanka's Killing Fields: War Crimes Unpunished”.

The British Independent newspaper reports that the new Channel 4 video includes footage of a body of a 12 year old boy believed to be the son of LLTE leader, Vellupillai Prabakaran lying on the ground with gun shot wounds.

The newspaper also reports that the new video has been made by Callum Macrae, the maker of the previous video.

When asked about the new video President's spokesperson and International Media Advisor Bandula Jayasekara told the Hindu newspaper that he had not seen the video as yet.

He added that if the LTTE is attempting to prepare such videos to embarrass and bring disrepute to Sri Lanka, their bluff will be called, just as Sri Lanka had frame-by-frame rebutted the first Channel 4 video.

Bandula Jayasekara also added that if the LTTE is trying to produce videos including footage of the LTTE leader’s family, then we too can produce thousands of videos where the LTTE has killed children, infants and women.
