The video regarding Sri Lanka released by Britain’s Channel 4 was aired today at around 4.30 a.m. local time.
Reports stated that this video which runs through a duration of 49 minutes had levelled baseless allegations against the Three Forces and Sri Lanka as a country.
It was also reported that components of the video which were previously telecast by Channel 4 were also included in the video released this morning.
Reports further state that this recent footage had included what is believed to be the bullet ridden body of 12 year old Balachandran who is reportedly the youngest son of the deceased LTTE Leader Vellupillai Prabhakaran.
Callum McRae who directed the previous videos that were telecast by Channel 4 had carried out the direction of this video as well.
Moreover, views expressed by the former British Foreign Secretary David Miliband, United Nations Representative John Holmes and the former UN Spokesman for Sri Lanka Gordon Weiss have been included in the latest video footage released by Channel 4.
However, several views were expressed during the Cabinet Decisions Press Briefing held this morning in Colombo regarding the latest video released by Channel 4.
Acting Cabinet Spokesperson Deputy Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardene said that the Sri Lankan Government is all set to provide a relevant reply to this video released this morning.
