The General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Minister Maithreepala Sirisena has instructed the Inspector General of Police to submit a report on ministers and parliamentarians of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party who have corruption and criminal charges against them.

Minister Maithreepala Sirisena requested this report on electoral organisers, provincial councillors and councillors of local government institutions who have various criminal charges against them.

When our News Team inquired Minister Maithreepala Sirisena with this regard, he stated that a letter has been forwarded to the parliamentarians who represent the Sri Lanka Freedom Party requesting for a report on provincial councillors and councillors of local government institutions who have various allegations against them.

Speaking further the General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Minister Maithreepala Sirisena stated that it will be recommended to the Party Central Working Committee to make a decision on the relevant councillors after considering all these reports.
