Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Pakistan is to arrive in Sri Lanka today.

The Media Centre for National Security in a statement said that General Khalid Shameem Wynne will be in the island for a period of four days.

He will meet with President Mahinda Rajapakse, defence secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse and Commanders of all the three services of Sri Lanka.

The MCNS added that the Pakistani General is expected to visit Northern and Eastern Province including Kilinochchi and Trincomalee during his stay.
