The video put together by Sri Lanka in response to the 2nd Channle 4 video will be telecast to world leaders at the Geneva Human Rights Council sessions today.
The video is titled “Shadows of Terror”.
In response to the 1st Channel 4 video titled “Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields”, a video titled “Lies Agreed Upon” was created previously.
Meanwhile, another video titled “Lanka Emerging Wonder” is to be showcased to delegates in Geneva by the Sri Lankan delegation.
None of the Channel 4 videos focussed on the LTTE’s usage of child soldiers during the war.
The response videos include the true picture of Sri Lanka’s humanitarian operation.
Meanwhile, the former LTTE media spokesperson Velayudam Dayanidhi alias Daya Master has stated that most of the footage in the Channel 4 video has been put together as propaganda for the LTTE.
He added that the footage is from the time of the cease-fire in 2002.
Daya Master has also added that the allegation that Prabhakaran’s 12 year old son was killed by the security forces is untrue.
He believes that the child was under tight protection of LTTE guards and he may have been shot by LTTE guards when they tried to flee.
