The Paramedical United Federation has decided to end, at 8 this morning, the trade union action they had launched.
Paramedical United Federation General Secretary Saman Jayasekera told our news team that they had decided to end the strike in accordance with the restraining order issued by court recently.
Meanwhile the united minor staff trade union federation says that it has decided to carry out a token strike today.
Federation Convenor E. B. Wickremesinghe told our news team that this trade union action was being taken over three demands.
However issuing a communiqué yesterday the Health Ministry said that the health ministry and the finance ministry jointly provided solutions to all the demands of the hospital minor staff.
