The United National Party is due to put forward a no confidence motion against Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs John Senevirathna in parliament today.
The UNP General Secretary MP Tissa Attanayaka stated that the motion is based on allegations that the minister used his influence to provide jobs to graduates.
The motion was signed by several UNP parliamentarians yesterday.
More signatures are to be obtained for the motion today before it is presented to parliament.
