President Mahinda Rajapakse stated that the adaptation of the US Resolution against Sri Lanka presented at the UNHRC in Geneva has brought joy to LTTE Sympathisers.
However the President assured that he will not entertain any move that paves way for terrorism raising its head again within the country.
President Mahinda Rajapakse reiterated that the Government has embarked upon maintaining everlasting peace achieved following the defeat of terrorism within the country.
The President speaking at a function held in Bandaragama today also went onto state that foreign intervention is not required to solve issues within our country.
Meanwhile, President Mahinda Rajapakse directed authorities to enhance the quality of breakfast meals of school children thereby supplying an egg per meal.
The Presidential Media Unit stated that this directive was in line with increasing the quality of breakfast meals supplied to schools thrice a week.
The President addressing a meeting held at the Temple Trees yesterday stated that this initiative will defy the crisis faced by egg retailers with the decrease in prices of eggs.
