The United National Party states that if the Government had given prior notice to statements made by the Opposition Leader regarding the LLRC Report, several international issues would have been avoided.

Addressing a press conference held this morning UNP General Secretary Thissa Attanayake went onto state that his party had previously requested for the implementation of the recommendations mentioned in the LLRC Report.
