The Tamil National Alliance states that they will take the final decision on whether they will join the UNP in their joint opposition May Day Rally in Jaffna during a meeting tomorrow.
Speaking to our news team leader of the TNA R Sambandan stated that the parliamentarians of the party will meet tomorrow in Colombo to take this decision.
The UNP previously announced that the TNA would join their May Day Rally in Jaffna this year.
However, several UNP MP’s themselves refusing to attend this rally prompted the TNA to delay their decision.
Meanwhile, TNA leader R Sambandan met with British parliamentarian Lord Nesby who is on tour in Sri Lanka this morning.
Discussions were held regarding the current situation in the country and the problems faced by the Tamil people in the North and East.
