Indian media states that several party members representing leading
Tamil Nadu political parties in the Indian Rajya Sabha, have
decided-to-not participate in the visiting all party delegation which
is due to arrive in sri lanka shortly.
According to emerging reports published by Indian media, party members
representing the A.D.M.K party which functions under the leadership of
the chief minister of Tamil Nadu JEYALALITHA JEYARAM will not include
it's self in the visiting all party Indian delegation nor represent
the Rajya Sabha.
Moreover Indian media states that party members of the M.D.M.K party
which is led by KOBALAISWAMI & ministers representing the WIDU-DALEI-
SIRITH-THEI party led by THOL-THIRU-MARAN will not take part in the
all party delegation which is due to arrive in sri lanka.
These parties state that they have not yet received an invitation from
the Indian government in this regard.
However the D.M.K. party led by opposition leader M. Karunanidhi which
supports the ruling congress party of India will par-take in the all
party delegation visit.
The all party Indian delegation headed by opposition leader of the
Indian parliament SUSHMITHA SWARAJ is due to arrive in the island on
the 16th of this month.
The delegation's visit will last 10 days while its members will also
inspect the construction of the Colombo-Matara railway route which is
being constructed by India.
