Opposition leader asks for protection of foreign employees

Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe states that Sri Lankans who are employed abroad and their family members should be safeguarded.

The Opposition Leader made this statement while meeting the family members of deceased Minoli Dharmasena, a resident of Pahala Kosgama in Avissawella, who died after being assaulted in an inhuman manner in Saudi Arabia.



Meanwhile, President’s Counsel Srinath Perera states that no political party can refrain from conducting disciplinary investigations against individuals who cause harm to the party.

Expressing views to the media at the Opposition Leader's Office yesterday he stated that the party will take disciplinary action against the individuals who are responsible for the attack carried out on Sirikotha in accordance with the recommendations of his committee.
