The Ceylon Petroleum Private Bowser Owners’ Association has decided to suspend its services on the 09th and 10th of this month.

They justify their stance by stating that repeated demands to increase fuel transportation rates have not been met by the CPC.

However, when inquired by us, the Media Spokesperson of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Nishshanka Jayawardene stated that the fuel transportation activities remain unhindered despite the Bowser Owner Association's stance.

He added that the total number of bowsers owned by the CPC will be utilized to maintain an unhindered flow of fuel transportation services.
