The Frontline Socialist Party has requested from the Inspector General of Police to stop the political interventions which are carried out on its party members through the police.

This request has been made by the Propaganda Secretary of the Frontline Socialist Party Pubudu Jayagoda in a letter which was forwarded to the Inspector General of Police.

The Propaganda Secretary of the Frontline Socialist Party pointed out that several policemen who arrived at the residences of their Gampaha district party members yesterday had questioned them.

The Propaganda Secretary of the Frontline Socialist Party Pubudu Jayagoda pointed out that these questionings were made to find out whether Kumar Gunaratnam was previously accommodated in the relevant residences.

When our News Team inquired the Police Media Spokesperson Superintendent of Police Ajith Rohana with this regard, he stated that 02 places in Biyagama and Kelaniya which were believed to have been accommodated by Kumar Gunaratnam were checked.
