The Chairman of the Indian Muslim League K.M. Kadar Mohideen requests to include a Muslim parliamentarian in the Indian Parliamentary representative group led by the Opposition Leader of the Indian Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj which is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka.
The Indian parliamentary representatives are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow while they are also scheduled to engage in a tour to Jaffna and Kilinochchi during their 05 day stay.
Participating at the Executive Committee meeting of the Indian Muslim League which was held yesterday Kadar Mohideen stated that justice should be done to the Tamil speaking Muslims living in Sri Lanka.
The Chairman of the Indian Muslim League K.M. Kadar Mohideen pointed out that therefore, an Indian Muslim parliamentarian too should be included in the Sri Lankan tour.
Further in this regard the Chairman of the Indian Muslim League noted that the Indian parliamentary delegation should make it a point to visit the areas in which the country's Muslim population reside during their tour of Sri Lanka.
He noted that the grievances of the Muslim community in Sri Lanka should be duly noted while garnering their support for a political solution remains crucial.
