Government to compensate crocodile attack victims.

The Ministry of Agrarian Services and Wildlife has decided to provide compensation to victims of crocodile attacks.

3 lives were lost over the last couple of days in attacks by crocodilians in the Nilwala River.

Wildlife Minister S M Chandrasena states that if a family of victims request for compensation the ministry is ready to provide it.

The minister was speaking at a press briefing held in Anuradhapura yesterday.

Speaking further the minister also had this to say.
