The UNP has decided to request for an adjournment motion regarding
disappearances and abductions.
The UNP hopes to table this adjournment motion at the parliamentary
session that begins on the 8th of May.
Chief Opposition Whip MP John Amaratunga speaking to our news team stated that the request for the inclusion of this motion in parliamentary agenda would
be submitted to the parliamentary secretary this week.
The Chief Opposition Whip added that the party decided to move this adjournment motion and hold a debate since disappearances and abductions had increased recently.
