Indian delegation demands for 13. JHU shows India's limits.

The Indian all-party delegation headed by opposition leader Sushma Swaraj toured the North today.

The delegation engaged in an inspection tour of the Settikulam Menik Farm Camp in Vavuniya.

Subsequently they visited Puliyankulam where a farmer explained how his child was kidnapped by the LTTE and was forced in to combat.

The delegation also visited Mulativ.

Meanwhile, member of the delegation Congress Party Lok Sabha MP Sudharshan Naachchi-appan states that if the Tamil people of Sri Lanka are to gain their rights the 13th Amendment to the constitution must be enacted.

The MP speaking to our news team explained the details of their visit so far.



Meanwhile, the Jathika Hela Urumaya states that the Sri Lankan constitution should be amended by the Sri Lankan parliament and not the Indian one.

These comments came in the wake of the former President and Opposition leader’s comments in Indian and the Indian parliamentary delegations visit to Sri Lanka.

The JHU adds that Sri Lanka does not interfere with India’s internal issues.
