The Presidential Media Unit stated that President Mahinda Rajapakse will leave for an official tour of South Korea on the 22nd of this month.

The President will hold bilateral discussions with the South Korean President and other government officials.

Several economic agreements will also be signed during the visit.

The President will also deliver a special lecture at the Sri Lanka South Korea Business Forum banquet.

Meanwhile, South Korean High Commissioner in Sri Lanka Jon Mun Choy presented a special award to President Mahinda Rajapakse recently.

The award was in recognition of Sri Lanka providing a high quality work-force to South Korea in the year 2011.

A Presidential Media Unit spokesperson added that President Mahinda Rajapakse will hold discussions regarding increasing the quota of skilled workers to South Korea during his visit as well.
