The suspect who was arrested for illegally killing a turtle to obtain its meat was produced before the courts yesterday where he had plead guilty to the charge.

The Manna Magistrate had ordered the meat to be destroyed and upon inspecting the meat prior to being destroyed had discovered that there were 10 kilograms of meat missing.
