President Mahinda Rajapaksa left for South Korea yesterday on a four- day official visit on an invitation extended by South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak.

President Rajapaksa will hold bilateral discussions with his South Korean counterpart while several agreements will also be signed during the President’s stay.

The President will also address a business luncheon co-hosted by four business associations in Seoul and the Sri Lanka – Korea Business Forum hosted by the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


The media unit also stated that several economic agreements will also be signed during the President's tour.

President Mahinda Rajapakse will also deliver a special lecture at the Sri Lanka-South Korea Business Forum.
