The Sri Lanka Customs has confiscated a stock of cigarettes which were illegally brought by a woman and 02 men who arrived at the Katunayake airport this morning in a Mihin Lanka aircraft which travelled from Dubai.

820 cigarette cartons of cigarettes worth approximately 4 million 500 thousand rupees which were packed in large travelling bags were confiscated.

Our airport correspondent stated that as at present the Sri Lanka Customs has arrested the individuals who had brought the stock of cigarettes illegally and are now being questioned.
