Chlorine input in the Thalawakele Lindula reservoir increases

Talawakele - Lidula Medical Officer Dr. Janath Abeygunaratne says that
the chlorine input in the water the Water Supply Board provides to the
Talawakele - Lidula area is more than the accepted value.

He said that because of this it has been decided to collect water
samples from six locations in the area and provide recommendations
about them to relevant institutions.



Our news team inquired about this from Water Supply Board Deputy
General Manager Central Province Luxman Attanayake.

The Deputy GM said that chlorine input to water was being done in
according to instructions obtained from Health authorities.
