President Mahinda Rajapakse states that Sri Lanka was able to end terrorism since the country moved forward with determination.
The President made this statement while addressing a gathering of Sri Lankan migrant workers and university student in South Korea.
The President also noted that South Korea was considered a developed nation since it too had worked towards it with great determination.
Speaking further President Mahinda Rajapakse stated that his South Korean counterpart Lee Myung Bak was pleased with the Sri Lankan work-force in South Korea.
President Rajapakse also told the gathering that his tour of South Korea had enabled him to find solutions to issues faced by Sri Lankan migrant workers.
Meanwhile, speaking to the media regarding the president’s South Korean tour Minister of External Affairs Prof G L Peiris noted that the tour would bring positive and proactive results for Sri Lanka.
