Muslin Congress discussion on the Dambulla incident commences

The Media Spokesperson of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Nisam Kariyappar states that a special meeting of its Executive Board led by the Party Leader Rauf Hakeem has now commenced in relation to the Dambulla incident and the prevailing political situation.

The Media Spokesperson of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress pointed out that during this discussion, a decision will be taken on the future political journey of the party along with the issue which arose recently in relation to the removal of a mosque in Dambulla.

Speaking further the Media Spokesperson of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress stated that it is also scheduled to discuss with regard to the scheduled Eastern Provincial Council election.

Meanwhile, a discussion had taken place last night between top level leaders of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress and the United National Party.

When our News Team inquired the Media Spokesperson of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Nisam Kariyappar with this regard, he stated that he returned to Colombo today and if such a discussion had taken place the Leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Rauf Hakeem will inform the matter during the course of the day.
